Agency website
As part of the Eleven Agency team, I had the privilege of leading the design of our agency’s new website. This website is a reflection of our unique focus on empowering non-profits that are doing good in the world. The brief was to create a digital presence that not only showcased the impactful work we do but also aligned with our values of clarity, purpose, and authenticity.
We knew we needed a design that would resonate with mission-driven organisations. We set out to create an experience that was both empathetic and impactful. The first step was crafting a minimalist design language with a focus on clear communication. We chose a subdued monochrome colour palette with carefully selected accent colours to evoke a sense of trust, calm, and professionalism. This was vital for non-profit organisations.
From a functional standpoint, the site needed to be as flexible as it was aesthetically pleasing. We designed a modular layout system, allowing us to easily update case studies, services, and content without disrupting the overall flow of the site. This flexibility is crucial in the non-profit sector, where new projects, stories, and campaigns often need to be showcased quickly.
Interactivity was another core focus. We wanted users to feel engaged without distraction. Subtle motion elements were added to buttons, links, and transitions, creating an experience that felt dynamic without overwhelming the user. Each microinteraction was designed to guide users seamlessly from one section to the next, keeping them engaged and ensuring they could easily find the information they needed. This was particularly important given the often complex and emotional stories that the non-profits we work with tell.
Collaboration was key throughout the design process. Working with the internal team allowed us to ensure the final product was a true representation of the agency’s mission. Every element, from the website’s layout to its content strategy, was carefully considered to make sure it would resonate with our clients, organisations dedicated to making a positive impact in the world.
