Visual identity for a modern dog brand
Bark & Beans is a dog café built around community, comfort, and connection — between people, their pets, and a really good cup of coffee. The brief was to create a brand that felt playful and welcoming, while still having enough structure to grow into a lifestyle-led retail space.
At the heart of the identity is a bold, custom wordmark — a chunky, characterful logo with a subtle wag in the ampersand, designed to capture the warmth and personality of the brand. It sets the tone for a visual system built on confident typography, a warm and modern colour palette, and a voice that feels cheeky but sincere.
From signage and packaging to merch and digital content, every element was designed to be cohesive, flexible, and full of character. The system also includes adaptable illustrations and patterns that can be applied across a variety of products and spaces.
The result is a feel-good, functional brand that invites people (and their pups) to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment.
